Covid -19 Statement

COVID-19 Guidance for Horn’s Backflow & Plumbing

Hello to All of Our Clients and Vendors,

First and foremost, Horn’s wishes to thank you for allowing us to care for your backflow and plumbing needs.

Furthermore, Horn’s wants to emphasize our commitment to protecting the health and safety of our clientele, vendors, and staff during these unprecedented times. We are employing the following steps to help reduce the risk of exposure to the coronavirus:

∙ Encourage Horn’s staff to stay home if they are sick.

∙ We are providing masks to all staff to cover their nose and mouth to prevent them from spreading the virus.

∙ We continue to use other normal control measures, including personal protective equipment (PPE), necessary to protect clients and staff from other job hazards associated with normal job site activities.

∙ We are committed to training Horn’s staff on how to properly put on, use/wear, and take off protective clothing and equipment.

∙ We advise Horn’s staff to avoid physical contact with others and suggest all employees/clients/visitors maintain personal space of at least six feet.  Otherwise, to maintain as much personal space as possible/reasonable, considering the needs of the services being performed.

∙ We use social distancing practices to keep all meetings (including performance and safety meetings) as safe as possible.

∙ We encourage respiratory etiquette, including covering coughs and sneezes.

∙ We promote personal hygiene. If Horn’s staff does not have immediate access to soap and water for handwashing, we provide sanitizing wipes and liquid dispensers.

∙ We use Environmental Protection Agency approved cleaning chemicals.

∙ We instruct Horn’s staff on how to clean all tools/equipment after each use, as well as providing the necessary supplies to do so.   This includes our vehicles as well as our hand equipment.

∙ We regularly clean and disinfect our offices, and provide sanitizing/cleaning supplies to all Horn’s staff to use while in the office, or on the job site.

∙ We require Horn’s staff to report any safety or health concerns no matter how slight it seems.

Again, thank you for your continued support and patronage as we continue to provide the essential services you have come to rely on Horn’s for.
